Ab Initio Developer

Akkodis is seeking an Ab Initio Developer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. This role involves designing and implementing large-scale ETL solutions, working with cloud-native tools, and managing end-to-end data workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Ab Initio Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end ETL solutions using Ab Initio, from requirement analysis to implementation.

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Ab Initio, SQL (Teradata/Hadoop), and Unix shell scripting.

• Work with large-scale data integration and data warehousing solutions, ensuring data quality and performance.

• Develop and manage ETL workflows on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and cloud-native tools.

• Establish data lineage and metadata management using Ab Initio Metadata Hub.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead offshore/onshore developers in Agile project environments.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in ETL development with at least 7+ years in Ab Initio.

• Strong expertise in Ab Initio, Unix shell scripting, and SQL (Teradata/Hadoop) for large-scale data integration.

• Experience in cloud-based ETL processing (Google Cloud), data warehousing concepts, and banking domain with strong data lineage and metadata management knowledge.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
