Azure BI Data Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Azure BI Data Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience analyzing enterprise‑scale data using Microsoft Azure analytics platforms, including Databricks, Power BI, and Python/PySpark, to deliver actionable insights for business decision‑making.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure BI Data Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Analyze customer, inventory, and partner data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions.

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across multiple applications and customer lifecycle datasets.

• Aggregate, integrate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders.

• Build and maintain KPI frameworks, metrics definitions, and performance tracking models.

• Perform trend, cohort, and scenario analysis to support forecasting, planning, and demand‑planning insights.

• Translate business questions into clear analytical outputs, recommendations, and data stories.

• Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and usability.

• Present insights using effective visualizations, storytelling, and executive‑level summaries.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience as a BI or Data Analyst.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure analytics platforms, including Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform for reporting and analytics.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Python, PySpark, and PL/SQL.

• Experience working with Cosmos DB and large, distributed datasets is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry / Data Science platforms preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
