Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate must have advanced Java development experience with strong expertise in Spring Boot and unit testing frameworks, while also contributing to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployments.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot, including RESTful services and microservices architecture
Implement and manage data access layers using Spring Data JPA and Oracle PL/SQL
Develop secure applications using Spring Security and follow best coding practices
Build and execute unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit to ensure code quality
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins for automated build and deployment
Contribute to front-end integration and cloud/containerized deployments using technologies like React/Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in Java development with strong focus on Spring Boot
Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot ecosystem (REST APIs, Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $43.00 per hour
