Java Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, Fl. The ideal candidate must have advanced expertise in Java and Spring Boot, while developing scalable applications and supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot and Java

• Build and implement RESTful services, microservices, and backend components

• Develop and optimize database interactions using Oracle PL/SQL

• Write and execute unit tests using frameworks like JUnit to ensure code quality

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds and deployments

• Support cloud and container-based deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot (REST services, Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $43.00 per hour
