Java Full Stack Lead engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Lead engineer for a Contract with a client in St Louis, MO / Ofallen, MO. This role will lead end‑to‑end architecture design and delivery of scalable, high‑performance Java services while guiding teams on standards and best practices.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full Stack Lead engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture design and implementation for scalable, high‑performance Java applications.

• Develop and evolve Spring Boot–based microservices, REST APIs, and full‑stack solutions.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while supporting Tier‑1 production systems.

• Define feature requirements and deliver solutions that drive business and customer impact.

• Provide technical guidance on development standards, automation, and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to simplify complex implementations and drive innovation.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).

• 8–10 years of experience in Java‑based software engineering roles.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

• Proven experience designing scalable, high‑performance systems and guiding teams on development standards and best practices.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
