Packaged / SaaS Application Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Packaged / SaaS Application Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience configuring and supporting Oracle-based packaged and SaaS applications, with the ability to integrate, optimize, and support enterprise platforms while collaborating across multiple teams.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $76/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Packaged / SaaS Application Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Configure, support, and optimize packaged and SaaS applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and compatibility.

• Lead application integration efforts using standard tools, APIs, and low‑code platforms to align solutions with business requirements.

• Provide subject matter expertise for Oracle platforms including Oracle E‑Business Suite (11i), Oracle Financials, Oracle Apex WebCenter, Oracle Integrations (IC), and Oracle Fusion.

• Lead cross‑functional meetings to gather requirements, make technical decisions, and ensure alignment on application enhancements and support strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 8–14 years of experience supporting and integrating packaged or SaaS enterprise applications.

• Advanced proficiency in Packaged Application Integration.

• Strong experience with Oracle application ecosystems, including EBS, Financials, Apex WebCenter, Integrations, and Fusion.

• Experience mentoring team members and contributing to technical leadership and decision‑making across multiple teams.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate system performance and recommend optimizations.

• Industry experience preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $76.00 per hour
