UX Designer

Akkodis is seeking a UX Designer for a Contract with a client in Bridgewater, NJ/ Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will design and enhance enterprise UX design systems by building scalable, accessible UI components and ensuring consistency across digital platforms.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UX Designer Job Responsibilities include:

• Build, maintain, and optimize reusable UI components using Figma while ensuring consistency with enterprise design system standards.

• Apply atomic design principles and design tokens to create scalable and accessible user interface solutions.

• Collaborating with product owners, UX leads developers to translate requirements into intuitive design components.

• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices across all platforms.

• Participate in the full design lifecycle, including research, prototyping, testing, and QA validation.

• Contribute to design system governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.

• 0–2 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly working with design systems and digital product interfaces.

• Strong proficiency in Figma with experience creating reusable components, design tokens, and applying atomic design principles.

• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and ability to collaborate effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
