Consultant (m/f/d) OpenText Data Protector Backup Software

For our client, an international IT and consulting company we are looking for a Consultant (m/f/d) OpenText Data Protector Backup Software 

Start: 01.09.2025 

Duration: 30.11.2025 (possible extension)

Location: remote

Language: English and German if possible

Tasks:

• Take technical ownership of the backup solution using OpenText Data Protector
• and resolve backup/restore issues and incidents
• Plan and support changes, upgrades, and data migrations
• Advise internal teams on backup architecture and best practices
• Document technical changes and operational procedures

Profil

Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with OpenText Data Protector
• Solid understanding of backup/restore concepts (physical & virtual environments)
• Experience in IT operations / hosting infrastructure
