Role Overview

The consultant will support a public-sector–related waterfall project delivering a customer portal integrated with an SAP backend (SAP ABAKUS). The role covers end-to-end service delivery across requirements, configuration, testing, and release activities to ensure compliant, stable, and user-friendly subsidizing processes.

Scope of Work

• Design and implement frontend requirements for the customer application portal
• Service and coordinate APIs between frontend (Crealogix Portal) and SAP backend (SAP ABAKUS)
• Support and optimize the full lifecycle of subsidizing applications, including existing form routes
• Operate within a structured waterfall delivery model with monthly releases

Key Responsibilities

• Implement customer and business requirements for the frontend portal, ensuring usability, accessibility, and compliance
• Plan and execute functional testing (frontend & backend): test design, test data, execution, defect triage, and UAT coordination
• Customize and configure SAP ABAKUS interfaces and backend actions, ensuring secure and contract-compliant integrations
• Perform defect analysis and troubleshooting across portal and SAP ABAKUS; validate fixes end-to-end
• Advise on requirements engineering: conduct workshops, refine epics/stories, define acceptance criteria
• Consolidate new demand and maintain a prioritized backlog with full traceability across delivery stages
• Collaborate with architects, developers, test managers, and operations to ensure release readiness
• Support configuration, transport, and release management activities, including post-release verification
• Report progress, risks, and dependencies transparently, proposing mitigation measures where required

Required Experience & Knowledge

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAKUS (Add-On) and SAP backends
• Experience with Crealogix Application Portal or comparable frontend platforms
• Background in promotional banking, public-sector decision processes, or core banking / financial services applications
• Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments
