·      Strong experience with Ab Initio graphs

·      Demonstrated experience in Ab Initio performance tuning

·      Knowledge of source control and code promotion techniques within Ab Initio

·      Experience working within Agile delivery teams

 

 

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Engineer to join our client’s team, designing, building, and optimising data transformations with Ab Initio, and contributing to critical enterprise data pipelines and performance-sensitive systems.

 

You will collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices in code quality, performance, and architecture. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges within large-scale enterprise environments.

 

Key Requirements

·      Build, enhance, and maintain Ab Initio graphs/plans for batch and/or continuous flows

·      Optimise Ab Initio jobs for performance, reliability, and maintainability

·      Apply structured source control and code promotion processes

·      Use SQL and shell scripting for data manipulation, troubleshooting, and automation

·      Collaborate with Agile teams, architects, and business stakeholders

·      Apply secure coding and data handling practices where required
