AI Solutions Engineer / AI Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer / AI Developer to take ownership of designing and building bespoke Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys architecting and developing custom applications from the ground up — not configuring out-of-the-box solutions.

You will lead the end-to-end design, build, and integration of tailored Power Platform applications, including integration with Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and user experience.

Employment Type: Contract (6 months + extensions)

Work Model: Hybrid

Location: Double Bay, NSW

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Power Platform Design & Development

• Develop custom Power Apps applications from scratch
• Architect scalable and secure Power Platform solutions including:
  • Environment structure and strategy
  • Dataverse data models and schema design
  • Connectors and integration standards
  • Security, governance, and access controls
• Build end-to-end solutions using:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Supporting Power Platform components
• Deploy and manage custom-built applications across environments

🔹 Solution & Application Architecture

• Define overall application architecture and technical standards
• Establish build approaches and development best practices
• Evaluate integration points across business systems
• Design unified, scalable platform solutions across business functions
• Ensure solutions align with security and governance best practice

🔹 AI Integration / Microsoft Copilot

• Integrate custom Power Apps with Microsoft Copilot capabilities
• Enable applications to be surfaced, extended, or interacted with via Copilot
• Design intelligent workflows and prompts
• Enhance productivity through AI-driven user experiences

 

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven)
  • Power Platform architecture and solution design
  • Dataverse data modelling
  • Connectors and integrations
  • Security and environment setup
• Proven experience designing and building custom Power Platform solutions
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Copilot
• Ability to take ownership of solution design and technical delivery
• Experience building bespoke applications (not packaged implementations)

Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Solutions Engineer / AI Developer with strong expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying custom applications and AI‑enabled capabilities that integrate seamlessly into Microsoft Copilot.

Salary: $900 - $1200 pd
