Appian Developer

We’re seeking an experienced Appian Developer for a 6-month contract role, with the potential for extension. You will work on a new project development on the Appian platform and provide support for existing applications. This is an exciting opportunity with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate user stories into required functionality using the Appian platform.
• Design, implement, enhance, and support Appian applications.
• Guide Appian developers to ensure best practices are followed.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and knowledge transfer.
• Prepare and maintain thorough system and application documentation.
• Analyze and fix production defects.

Skills:

• Strong experience with the Appian BPM platform.
• Proficiency in MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Ability to write reusable common objects.
• Extensive experience in Agile software development, including working with JIRA and Kanban boards.
• Proven experience in collaborating with Business Analysts and Key Stakeholders.
• Appian certification is highly regarded.
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., .NET, C#, Java) is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/MS Azure) is advantageous.
