Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer – Java to design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications. You will play a key role in delivering efficient, secure, and scalable solutions while working collaboratively within a high-performing development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new applications and enhancements
• Perform systems analysis and contribute to solution design
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions
• Resolve application issues and provide ongoing support for in-house systems
• Adhere to change and release management processes
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to achieve project outcomes

 

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Capabilities & Experience

• Strong experience in Java development (Java 17 or 21)
• Experience with Spring Framework (including Spring Security)
• Proficiency in Hibernate/JPA
• Front-end development experience (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Experience with JSF (PrimeFaces or similar component libraries)
• Build tools such as Maven
• Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock)
• Version control using Git (Bitbucket preferred)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Selenium or similar web testing tools
• Strong database skills (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
• Experience with application servers (TomEE/Tomcat)
• Experience working in Agile/CI environments with best practices (code reviews, CI/CD)
• Experience in developing secure web applications
