    What we need from you

    • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Tester.

    • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modelling, feature refinement, and systems documentation.

    • Experience in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

    • Strong documentation skills, able to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.

    • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery models.

    • Proficiency in JIRA and test management tools.

    • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

     

    Role

    We are looking for a talented Business Analyst / Tester to support a Federal Government client in analysing, designing, and validating business systems and processes. This hybrid role offers a balance between business analysis and quality assurance, ideal for professionals who can bridge the gap between functional needs and technical solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather and document business requirements, evaluate current processes, and define future-state solutions.

    • Develop process maps, functional specifications, and user stories for system improvements.

    • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts across multiple test phases.

    • Perform defect management and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.

    • Ensure testing standards, traceability, and documentation meet project objectives.

    • Support alignment between business outcomes and technology implementation.

     

    Skills You’ll Bring

    • Proficiency in business analysis and testing methodologies.

    • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.

    • Understanding of systems integration and process improvement.

    • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

    • ISTQB or IIBA (CBAP/CCBA) certification desirable.

    • Experience or interest in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) will be highly regarded.
