What we need from


Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery and ongoing operation of a complex hybrid technology environment. The organisation is undertaking a major digital transformation, including the implementation of the TechnologyOne OneCouncil SaaS ERP platform to replace existing on‑premises systems. This is a hands‑on technical role, requiring active configuration, implementation, and operational support across both cloud and on‑premises environments.

The Role As the Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide specialised cloud and infrastructure engineering capability to support the transition of enterprise systems to cloud and SaaS platforms.


Purpose

  • The purpose of this engagement is to provide specialised cloud and infrastructure engineering capability to:
  • Support migration of enterprise systems from on‑premises to cloud and SaaS platforms
  • Ensure infrastructure services are secure, resilient, scalable, and well‑integrated
  • Improve performance, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Enable integration across enterprise systems and platforms
  • Support alignment with IT strategy and cybersecurity frameworks
  • Embed modern cloud practices including automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement


Responsibilities

  • Operate and support hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises, Azure, and SaaS environments, ensuring performance and resilience
  • Deliver and support Azure platform services including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and security
  • Support cloud and SaaS transitions for enterprise systems including TechnologyOne
  • Manage identity and access services including Entra ID, SSO, and MFA across hybrid environments
  • Support enterprise networking including DNS, firewalls, secure connectivity, and segmentation
  •  Support system integrations using APIs, event‑driven approaches, and serverless services such as Azure Functions
  •  Maintain on‑premises platforms including Windows Server, Hyper‑V, storage, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Apply security, compliance, documentation, vendor collaboration, and continuous improvement practices, including automation where appropriate
