Copilot Adoption Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop customer adoption strategies that link Copilot investment to clear business priorities, including current-state readiness, priority scenarios, adoption roadmaps, governance considerations, and success measures.
• Lead practical change and communication activities that build trust, reduce uncertainty about AI, and help people adopt new habits in the flow of work.
• Design and facilitate role-based, scenario-led enablement, including persona analysis, learning pathways, functional workshops, and prompting guidance grounded in real business processes.
• Establish and grow AI Champion programs and communities of practice, including champion onboarding, mentoring, office hours, prompt-sharing, and practical activation activities.
• Enable executives and managers to act as visible sponsors and team-level multipliers through briefings, coaching, adoption guidance, and practical playbooks.
• Help customers progress from everyday Copilot use to agent-enabled work by identifying suitable agent scenarios, supporting adoption campaigns, and explaining when to use Copilot Chat, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or agents.
• Measure and communicate adoption progress and value realisation, combining usage, sentiment, time saved, quality improvements, and business outcomes into a clear value story for stakeholders.
• Produce clear customer deliverables such as adoption roadmaps, change and communication plans, champion playbooks, enablement materials, and value realisation artefacts.
• Stay current across Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents, and Microsoft adoption guidance, and bring practical, up-to-date thinking into customer engagements.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with Microsoft field teams, partner development managers, and specialist sellers to support joint go-to-market activities, identify new opportunities, and enhance Akkodis' profile within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Partner with sales and solution teams on pre-sales activities, including customer discovery workshops, demonstrations, proposals, adoption strategies, and business value discussions, helping customers understand and realise the benefits of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI solutions.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Experience in change management, adoption, learning and development, communications, or Modern Work transformation, with a strong understanding of how people adopt new ways of working.
• Confidence facilitating workshops, coaching groups, and communicating with a mix of executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
• The ability to translate technology capability into practical business scenarios, clear user guidance, and repeatable work habits.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Modern Work, or Microsoft 365 Copilot, and a willingness to keep building knowledge as the AI landscape changes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, storytelling, and written communication skills, with the ability to make complex or unfamiliar concepts feel clear and actionable.
• An understanding of how to define, capture, and communicate adoption value through a combination of usage, sentiment, behaviour change, and business outcomes.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive learning mindset, with the confidence to work in an area where tools, guidance, and customer expectations are evolving quickly.
