EMS Platform Engineer

What we need from you

·      Expertise in installing, configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting e-terra DMS and related products.

·      Proven experience in modelling electrical devices for both Transmission and Distribution networks.

·      Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using diagnostic tools and methods.

·      Strong understanding of User Interface tools, SCADA systems, and grid modeling platforms.

·      Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, or supporting e-terra EMS.

·      In-depth knowledge of NERC CIP Standards and compliance practices.

·      Solid grasp of network protocols and systems, including:

·      TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, LAN/WAN

·      DNS, Active Directory

·      Firewalls and security policies

 Role

We are seeking an experienced EMS Platform Engineer with deep expertise in e-terra platforms. In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and modernization of real-time control systems for Australia's energy grid

Responsibilities:

·      Deploy and support e-terra DMS/EMS systems across complex network environments.

·      Model, test, and validate electrical components and network configurations.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time control systems and SCADA platforms.

·      Collaborate with security, operations, and IT teams to ensure system reliability and security.

·      Contribute to continuous improvement and system enhancement planning.

·      Ensure all work complies with NERC CIP and internal security standards.

·      Support incident resolution, patching, upgrades, and documentation under ITIL-aligned practices.

Skills You'll Bring:

·      Expertise in installing, analyzing, and troubleshooting e-terra DMS and related products.

·       Experience in modeling various electrical devices.

·      Ability to troubleshoot issues using a range of tools and methodologies.

·      Proven ability to diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced technical issues.

·      Strong knowledge of Transmission and Distribution electrical grid systems.

·      Familiarity with User Interface tools, SCADA, and grid modeling platforms.

·      Direct experience installing, maintaining, or supporting e-terra EMS products.

·      Understanding of NERC CIP Standards and compliance frameworks.

·      Working knowledge of networking concepts and systems, including:

TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, LAN/WAN

DNS, Active Directory

Firewalls and security policies.
