Role

We are seeking a Geometrics & Cartography / GIS Consultant to provide professional cartography and spatial services in support of major Energy projects. You will play a key role in producing high-quality maps and spatial outputs, maintaining accurate GIS data, and delivering effective analysis and visualisation to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities



• Deliver high-quality cartographic outputs and spatial analysis to support operational and project outcomes
• Maintain accurate GIS datasets, ensuring timely updates and robust quality control
• Provide expanded data visualisation through web mapping applications and tools
• Support team improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
• Provide expert GIS advice and outstanding customer service to end-users
• Build positive and productive stakeholder relationships while role modelling values of integrity, safety, and inclusivity

 

What You’ll Need

Essential Criteria

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to contribute effectively to a high-performing team
• Proficiency in ESRI GIS software (latest minus two versions minimum)
• Hands-on expertise in ArcGIS Pro
• Experience working with As-constructed and CAD data
• Advanced skills in creating high-quality maps and design plans
• Ability to develop process maps and write standards and procedures

 

Desirable Criteria

• University degree in Engineering, Geomatics, or related discipline
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Portal
• Experience using FME and Model Builder
• Strong understanding of web services and map services
• Experience in an engineering environment, with Oil & Gas industry exposure preferred
• Proven process improvement and task automation experience
