What we need from you

• 5+ years’ experience with Smallworld suite (PNI, Core SW4/SW5, EO, etc.)
• Strong skills in Magik, Java, VMDS, Oracle, SQL, and shell scripting
• Proven ability to apply fixes on live systems and interpret logs/debug files
• Experience with object-oriented programming and basic system administration

The Role

Due to growing demand and new client projects, this consultancy is seeking a GIS Developer to support, configure, and enhance Smallworld platforms across multiple environments. You’ll play a key role in delivering scalable, reliable solutions with a focus on long-term innovation and client success.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Smallworld suite and third-party tools (ONA, Data Center Mgmt)
• Apply OS patches and software fixes on live systems
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues using logs and scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical processes
