Your Role

ICT Support Officer

What is it for you?

6 months with extension Contract

Location – Bankstown NSW

Hours Per Week: 25 PART TIME (no hybrid arrangement), can be either 4 or 5 days to cover the hours

 

What we need from you:

·      Demonstrated experience in PC software packages including Windows, M365, Microsoft Cloud and email systems.

·      Well-developed verbal and strong written communication skills.  

·      Ability to work as an effective team member within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.

·      Ability to set priorities, plan and organize day-to-day tasks.

·      Effective complaints handling skills and experience.

·      Demonstrated organization, problem solving and analytical skills.  

·      Sound collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders through outstanding customer service

·      Extensive office and administrative experience        

·      Demonstrated commitment to Council’s values

What you’ll do:

·      Raise requisitions, order and reconcile invoices with relevant orders for the ICT unit.

·      Generating documents and presentations, merging documents, drafting letters and general correspondence, preparing reports, briefing notes, and taking minutes.

·      Register and manage ICT information and documentation utilizing Council's Document Management systems

·      Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets to ensure continuity of ICT support.

·      Assist the team, including service desk and the wider ICT team, in answering phone calls and walk-in requests as needed.

·      Perform administrative support for the ICT unit

·      Assist in preparing and maintaining budgets.

·      Assist in procuring and contract management of systems/solutions.

·      Assist with hardware and software asset maintenance and management.

·      Provide support to ICT staff with information coordination and dissemination, including documentation of procedures and risk mitigation.

·      Develop basic practical end user knowledge of systems supported by ICT

·      Analyze internal processes and user trends to assist and suggest productivity improvements.

·      Additional duties as required within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training
