The Role

As a result of ongoing operational demand, there is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst/Manager – Indirect Tax to support compliance and reporting obligations while driving

 

Responsibilities

• Preparation, review and lodgement of monthly Business Activity Statements and GST returns, including data reports and reconciliations
• Provide Australian and international GST/VAT advisory and compliance support
• Manage regulator reviews relating to indirect tax
• Drive process improvement, automation and technology adoption to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support data analytics initiatives and explore AI applications within indirect tax workstreams

Requirements

• Strong data analytics experience within a tax or finance environment
• Experience in GST compliance, BAS preparation and reconciliations
• Experience in process improvement, automation or technology-driven transformation
• Knowledge of Australian and/or international GST/VAT frameworks
