    We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of small to medium ICT initiatives. This critical role involves coordinating financial, human, and physical resources to ensure that projects are planned, developed, and executed to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal IT service management and operational support teams to ensure new initiatives are implemented sustainably, delivering long-term benefits to the organization.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·      Lead the upgrade of a substantial number of computers across the organization, transitioning from an older operating system to a newer version in accordance with upcoming support deadlines.

    ·      Manage the implementation of changes to user interfaces, security, and features, ensuring minimal disruption to application functionality and organizational workflows.

    ·      Oversee the deployment process using a phased approach, ensuring smooth transitions through stages such as early adoption, testing, and broad deployment.

    ·      Plan and manage project activities and resources to meet established deadlines.

    ·      Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with organizational policies and procedures.

    ·      Ensure strong project governance and assurance measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle.

    ·      Design and implement effective communication plans, change management strategies, and benefit realization frameworks as needed.

    ·      Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, project boards, and fellow project managers, to ensure alignment and project success.

    ·      Proactively manage risks, issues, conflicts, change requests, and project priorities.

    ·      Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely progress.

    ·      Oversee resource allocation and provide clear direction and support to the project team.

    ·      Deliver timely and accurate progress reports to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the project.

    ·      Ensure project administration adheres to internal governance and compliance standards.

    ·      Successfully deliver projects within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget parameters.

    ·      Fulfill additional duties as required.

    ·      Achieve quarterly Key Performance Indicators as applicable.

    ·      Demonstrated experience in managing software or operating system deployment projects.
