Lead Business Analyst

Currently we are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our client on a contract opportunity until June 2025 with potential extensions based in Brisbane CBD.

Candidates will need to provide evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria during the selection process.

• Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst, ideally within complex environments, demonstrating the ability to navigate unique processes, policies, and stakeholder landscapes.
• Proven expertise in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements using formal processes and methodologies to support the design and implementation of effective solutions, with a focus on delivering rapid, incremental outcomes.
• Strong experience in business rules elicitation, process mapping (using BPMN standards), and business process re-engineering to optimise workflows and align with organisational objectives.
• Solid understanding and application of business analysis frameworks, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality outputs.
• Demonstrated capability in benefits identification, development, and management, including creating benefits profiles and realisation matrices to measure project value effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to document and present business processes, requirements, and project outcomes clearly. Proven capability in supporting change management efforts with clear advice and actionable insights.
• Experience in designing, enhancing, or integrating information systems, including proficiency in systems integration, user interface (UI) development, application deployment, and system maintenance.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and resolve challenges in complex project settings.
• Expertise in conflict resolution, delivering successful outcomes in challenging situations.
• High proficiency with tools and software such as Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and SQL.
