Are you an experienced Lead Service Designer looking to make a tangible impact on high-priority digital transformation initiatives within a complex and secure government environment? We're seeking a strategic and hands-on design leader to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering large-scale uplift programs focused on cloud migration, network modernisation, and secure digital services.
This role sits within a dynamic and fast-paced setting, working on a nationally significant transformation program aimed at improving resilience, user experience, and ICT capability across a broad service ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of service design artifacts such as service blueprints, user journeys, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with UX researchers and multidisciplinary teams to conduct design research using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Facilitate workshops to drive stakeholder alignment and co-design approaches across multiple agencies and sectors.
- Provide critical input into business process improvement, service rationalisation, and cloud readiness strategies.
- Translate complex user needs and research findings into persuasive visual and written outputs to inform technology and service direction.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in digital transformation or omni-channel strategy environments.
- Strong capability in service design, UX design, and user research
- Skilled in facilitation and communication, adept at aligning stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Comfortable engaging directly with clients in a consultative and collaborative manner.
Highly Desirable
- Strong project management and time management across multiple service streams.
- Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Miro, Mural, Optimal Workshop, and Qualtrics XM.
- Familiarity with Identity Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID) and cloud migration strategies.
- Expertise in ideation, prototyping, and solution testing in secure or legacy environments.
