    Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Scheduler with Baseline or NV1 Clearance to join our team for a 12-month contract in the ACT. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and managing complex project schedules to ensure successful project delivery. Experience in the Defence sector is a bonus, and your ability to manage high-priority, time-sensitive projects will be essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·      Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project schedules for large-scale, complex projects.

    ·      Coordinate with project managers, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure the schedule reflects project goals and timelines.

    ·      Monitor project progress, identify potential schedule conflicts or delays, and recommend corrective actions.

    ·      Ensure all deliverables and milestones are accurately tracked and met according to project requirements.

    ·      Provide regular status reports and updates on the project schedule, including any changes or adjustments.

    ·      Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across all project activities and timelines.

    ·      Conduct schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning to ensure project objectives are achieved.

    ·      Facilitate and participate in schedule-related meetings, including weekly or monthly schedule reviews.

    ·      Support the project management team in ensuring project schedules meet the overall business and strategic objectives.

    ·      Manage the integration of schedules from multiple project teams or sub-projects to create a unified master schedule.

    Key Requirements:

    ·      Current Baseline or NV1 Clearance or the ability to obtain it.

    ·      Proven experience in scheduling, project coordination, or project management, ideally within a complex environment.

    ·      Strong proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.

    ·      In-depth understanding of project management principles, particularly related to scheduling, scope, and timeline management.

    ·      Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

    ·      Experience working on Defence projects or within the Defence sector is a significant bonus.

    ·      Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    ·      Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile.

    ·      Previous experience working within Australian Government or similar sectors is advantageous.
