Program Manager - Cyber Security

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager for one of our clients to lead a multi-stream Cyber Security Program, delivering organisational uplift across critical security capabilities. You will oversee major cyber security projects, manage cross-functional technical teams, engage governance bodies, coordinate vendors, and drive measurable maturity improvements aligned to strategic security objectives.

Location: Kelvin Grove (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 months + extensions

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a complex, multi-project Cyber Security Program focused on strengthening enterprise security capability and reducing risk. You will lead program governance, budget management, vendor coordination, and delivery across four major cyber uplift projects—Secure Endpoints, Privileged Access Management, Secure Remote Working, and Secure Data. The role also requires aligning program activities to strategic maturity targets and ensuring compliance with enterprise risk and security framework.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive program or project management experience delivering cyber security, ICT, or enterprise technology programs.

• Strong background in program governance, steering committee reporting, and risk management.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stream technical projects and manage interdependencies.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with experience liaising across business, technical, and executive teams.

• Proven ability to manage large budgets, facilitate planning, and oversee resource allocation.

• Experience ensuring compliance with security frameworks, risk appetite statements, and PMO methodologies.

Highly Desirable

• Experience delivering cyber uplift initiatives across NIST CSF, Essential Eight, CIS, or similar frameworks.

• Background in managing projects involving PAM, SASE, DLP, or endpoint security technologies.

• Previous experience coordinating vendor engagements, managing SLAs, and evaluating vendor security posture.

• Experience delivering programs within complex or regulated environments.
