Project HSE Manager (PHSEM)

Role Overview

The Project HSE Manager (PHSEM) is responsible for leading and embedding Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) excellence across the project lifecycle. Based primarily onsite in Perth, this role provides strategic and operational HSE leadership, ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across all project activities.

The PHSEM will act as the primary HSE interface with the client and ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements and Italian HSE legislative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive project HSE strategy
• Provide expert HSE advice to PMT
• Ensure compliance with legislation and standards
• Lead risk management and HAZID processes
• Verify HSE deliverables
• Implement worksite readiness
• Conduct inspections and audits
• Lead incident investigations
• Coordinate HSE resources

Work Environment & Travel

Primary location is Perth with travel to onshore and offshore project sites as required.

This is a 9 month max term contract.
