· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource leveling, critical path analysis, and earned value management

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to join our client’s team and support the successful delivery of complex engineering projects within a technically advanced organisation. This permanent part-time position is ideal for an experienced scheduler who enjoys working closely with project managers and technical teams to build, maintain, and optimise project schedules.
You will be responsible for developing robust project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying risks and delays, and providing clear reporting to support informed decision-making. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, technically driven environment and is motivated by contributing to environmentally impactful projects.
Key Requirements
· Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project, including milestones and deliverables
· Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to clearly define project scope and activities
· Define task logic, dependencies, durations, and resource allocations to optimise project sequencing
· Monitor progress against baseline schedules, track actuals, and identify critical path impacts
· Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation and “what-if” scenarios
· Prepare and present progress reports, Gantt charts, and schedule dashboards to stakeholders
· Update schedules to reflect approved changes, scope variations, and real-world conditions
· Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and project records throughout the project lifecycle
