What we need from you:

·      Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent trade qualification), along with a current Australian Driver's Licence, CPR/LVR certification, and Construction Industry White Card.

·      Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance, Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), and Northern Territory and Western Australia Electrical Workers Licences.

·      Demonstrated experience maintaining or installing critical electrical infrastructure, including UPS, standby generators, DC power systems, battery systems, and power reticulation.

·      Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience within electrical, industrial, utilities, telecommunications, aviation, defence, mining, or critical infrastructure environments.

·      Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality outcomes while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

·      Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

·      Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including UPS, standby generators, DC power, battery systems, and power reticulation equipment.

·      Maintain communications infrastructure, air-conditioning control systems, and data cabling to support operational performance.

·      Accurately record maintenance activities, inspections, and asset information using maintenance management systems.

·      Work closely with Air Traffic Control, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical support and coordinate maintenance activities.

·      Champion a strong safety culture by complying with all safety, environmental, risk, and governance requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will have:  

The possession of relevant licencing as specified by Legislative and/or Airservices requirements, Northern Territory and Western Australia Electrical Licence.

A strong commitment to working in a team environment with a focus on delivering the highest level of customer service. 

The ability to develop knowledge and understanding of the policies, procedures, and legislation relevant to the position. 

Ability to develop knowledge and experience performing maintenance and installation activities on electrical systems such as, power reticulation, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), standby generating sets, air conditioning control, DC power and battery systems.


The following qualifications are essential to be considered for this role: 

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician 

Able to obtain Northern Territory and Western Australia Electrical workers’ licence 

Current CPR/LVR 

Current Australian Driver’s Licence 

Construction industry White Card
