The Role

As a Salesforce Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives and operational needs. Acting as the bridge between business and technology teams, you will shape product direction, prioritise requirements and guide the delivery of solutions that maximise business value and user adoption.

Duties / Typical Day / Responsibilities

·      Own and maintain the Salesforce product vision, roadmap and prioritised backlog

·      Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and delivery teams to align priorities and expectations

·      Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews and process reviews to identify requirements and improvement opportunities

·      Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and process documentation

·      Prioritise requirements based on business value, risks, dependencies and delivery effort

·      Collaborate with architects and technical teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and governance

·      Provide business direction and support Agile delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle

·      Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement sessions and product reviews

·      Coordinate business involvement in user acceptance testing and support defect prioritisation

·      Drive business readiness, change management activities and user adoption initiatives

·      Monitor delivered outcomes and continuously improve the Salesforce product through stakeholder feedback

What Our Client Requires

Essential Skills & Experience

·      Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role delivering Salesforce solutions

·      Strong Salesforce platform knowledge including configuration, data models, security and business process automation

·      Extensive stakeholder management and relationship-building experience

·      Strong business analysis capability including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and process modelling

·      Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs within Agile delivery environments

·      Ability to balance competing priorities and resolve conflicting stakeholder requirements

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

·      Experience defining acceptance criteria, coordinating UAT and validating delivered functionality

·      Strong analytical, decision-making and organisational skills

Highly Desirable

·      Experience within consulting environments or major transformation programs

·      Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator or Consultant certifications

·      Product Owner, Scrum or Agile certifications

·      Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines
