Security Operations Consultant

What we need from you / What our client requires

·      3–4 years of hands-on experience in security operations

·      Strong understanding of security principles, threat landscapes, and IR methodologies

·      Ability to interpret and correlate logs/alerts from various systems for threat analysis

 

 

We are seeking a SecOps Consultant to support our private sector clients in strengthening their cybersecurity posture. This is an intermediate-level position ideal for professionals ready to lead threat detection, incident response, and security advisory services across varied technical environments.

 

You will be responsible to implement best practices, respond to real-time threats, and enhance the overall security maturity of organizations.

 

 

Key Requirements

 

·      Monitor and analyze security alerts from multiple sources to identify and respond to threats

·      Lead incident response activities including investigation, containment, and remediation

·      Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to security controls

·      Collaborate with internal and client teams to drive operational security enhancements

·      Develop and maintain documentation including runbooks, playbooks, and policies

·      Provide guidance on compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and the Essential Eight

·      Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends
