What we need from you:

·      Tertiary Electrical, Instrumentation and/or Controls Engineering qualification

·      Accredited Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or eligible to obtain CPEng accreditation from Engineers Australia

·      A demonstrated ability to take on the function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

·      Detailed knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls engineering procedures and practices as applied to the water industry and large engineering organisations

·      Experience in the development and ongoing review of technical and infrastructure standards.

·      Demonstrated experience in the execution of novel, complex and critical engineering investigations, and designs in the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls discipline engineering

What you’ll do:

·      Experience in the provision of investigation, options, concept and detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls installations associated with the water industry at a high professional level and auditing of designs prepared by others

·      Understanding of, or exposure to, the installation and commissioning of electrical, Instrumentation and controls Infrastructure

·      Electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering design capability

·      Clients Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, Procurement and Capital Planning and Delivery and Major Land Development

Profile

Act as an experienced practitioner for Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls matters within the Corporation by providing technical support to the Electrical Engineering team, delivering a high-level technical investigation, design, audit and advisory services related to all aspects of electrical standards and infrastructure.

 

We are looking for someone with experience with design, someone who is available to do visit to sites occasionally - once per month depending on project
