Senior Engineering Specialist

Role

As a Senior Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical readiness of a new Air Traffic Management (ATM) system. You will provide technical leadership and systems engineering oversight across the full project lifecycle, ensuring all systems meet required safety, performance, security and regulatory standards.

This role acts as the primary point of contact for technical and engineering matters, providing trusted advice and leadership across design, build, test, installation, verification and acceptance phases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for all technical and engineering matters

• Provide technical leadership across design, development, testing, installation and verification

• Lead and contribute to engineering review gates and acceptance activities

• Oversee technology change, configuration management and change control

• Identify, manage and communicate technical and system risks

• Create, review and approve engineering artefacts as required

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, including safety and security guidance

• Perform systems engineering activities in line with organisational frameworks and policies, including tools such as EKS, Trivy, Fluentbit, kube-bench, metric server, Nginx Ingress etc.

 

About You

• Degree in Engineering or Information Technology (or equivalent)

• Strong experience applying systems engineering practices across the delivery lifecycle

• Proven ability to lead technical activities in complex or regulated environments

• Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
