    What we need from you / What our client requires

    ·      Extensive experience designing, supporting, and securing complex enterprise network security environments

    ·      Strong hands-on expertise with network security gateway technologies (NGFW, VPN, WAF, IPS/IDS, proxies, BGP, traffic engineering)

    ·      Deep understanding of Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF) and industry standards

    ·      Australian citizenship with NV1 clearance

     

     

    We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our client’s team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining network security infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions and resolving complex network security challenges.

     

    You will provide subject matter expertise, technical leadership, and assurance across the full lifecycle of network security systems, ensuring safety, availability, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.

     

     

    Key Requirements

    ·      Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across network security design, implementation, and operational support

    ·      Design, build, and maintain secure network security infrastructure, including NGFWs, VPNs, WAFs, proxies, and traffic engineering solutions

    ·      Support and assure system design integrity, availability, and safety in line with national and international regulatory standards

    ·      Investigate, manage, and resolve complex network security incidents, vulnerabilities, and defects

    ·      Contribute to requirements analysis, system design, planning, and implementation of new and upgraded network solutions

    ·      Produce and review technical artefacts including specifications, test plans, procedures, and operational documentation
