Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering application and data-related projects across the full delivery lifecycle. Working closely with business stakeholders and third-party vendors, you will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful delivery of Contractor Management, Information Management, and related enterprise solutions within energy Sector.
Reporting into the delivery leadership team, this role plays a key part in coordinating vendors, managing governance, and ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of application and technology projects from initiation through to closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate and manage external vendors and delivery partners, including contract and performance management
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes
- Facilitate project governance, steering committees, workshops, and status meetings
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards and business requirements
- Support transition to business-as-usual operations, including handover and documentation
Skills Required:
- Proven experience delivering application and data-related projects across the full delivery lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project, Confluence)
Qualifications (Desirable):
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
- Experience delivering Contractor Management or Information Management solutions
- Experience in regulated or complex environments
