Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join the IT Application Refresh Program team, driving the replacement and enhancement of existing technologies and frameworks. You will play a critical role in designing, reviewing, and guiding architectural solutions across multiple complex applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architectural roadmaps and standards.

This role involves working closely with various teams across the organization, including Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Project Management, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and document architectural recommendations for enhancements and transitions of various solutions
• Lead efforts to reduce technical debt and transition systems to cloud-based or hybrid cloud environments
• Develop solution architectures that align with enterprise standards, promoting re-use of existing patterns and innovation
• Collaborate across teams to ensure architectural consistency, integration, and alignment with strategic objectives
• Support all phases of the solution architecture lifecycle, including migration, enhancement, and implementation activities
• Provide expert advice on technology selection and architectural best practices
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements

What You’ll Need

Mandatory Criteria

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Solution Architecture designing and implementing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions, preferably within Microsoft technology stacks
• Demonstrated ability to create logical and physical solution architectures for large, complex, and highly integrated systems
• Proven experience producing architectural roadmaps and patterns supporting efficient reuse of solutions
• Track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills to engage diverse stakeholders

Desirable Attributes

• Familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL, and Development Frameworks, including release and change control processes
• Knowledge of emerging trends in solution architecture and their practical application
• Experience ensuring adherence to corporate, industry, and international architecture standards
• Capability to establish assessment criteria and coordinate design activities for complex systems
• Leadership skills to guide architecture development consistent with business and technical requirements
