Technical BA - SharePoint

The Project

This is a short-term Discovery role supporting a SharePoint intranet migration. The Technical BA will work closely with business stakeholders, the Project Manager, and the SharePoint Architect to capture requirements, assess legacy usage, and ensure traceability through Azure DevOps. Althought the initial role is earmarked for 3-4 months, there is a strong indication that the engagement will be extended upon successful completion. Please note that this role requires Baseline Security Clearance as a minimum.

 

The location for this role is Canberra however can be performed remotely from other East Coast cities if required.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for migration
• Maintain requirements, traceability, and dashboards in Azure DevOps
• Support Discovery documentation and go/no-go decision inputs
• Assist with reporting and insights for stakeholder visibility
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI and technical resources

Profile

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on IT projects
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for requirements management
• Ability to work at pace in time-boxed Discovery phases
• Experience with SharePoint or intranet platforms (highly desirable)
• Clear, structured documentation and analytical capability
• A Baseline Security Clearance is a prerequisite for this role. Candidate without will not be considered as suitable.
