    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to join our team in the Defence industry. This role involves working on digital and software practices, specifically focusing on digital and IT strategy. The position is based in Canberra and offers both permanent and contract options.


    Responsibilities

    As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership across the entire managed support services for Akkodis.


    • You will manage support teams on a 24 x 7 basis for business-critical applications, ensuring seamless operation and support.
    • You will also be required to provide support (rostering on call) out of hours, with the team being compensated separately based on the rostering requirements.
    • Provide hands-on technical leadership and escalation support across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform solutions.
    • Collaborate with service delivery management and architecture teams.
    • Act as technical escalation point for complex incidents and root cause analysis.
    • Drive automation and efficiency within support practices.


    Expected qualifications

    • Strong background in MS D365.
    • Experience in managing support teams for business-critical applications.
    • Willingness to travel to Canberra frequently if not based there.
    • Ability to provide out-of-hours support as needed.
    • Proven hands-on experience with core Dynamics 365 CE modules (Customer Service, Marketing / Customer Insights Journeys, and Universal Resource Scheduling preferred).
    • Prior experience in enterprise support environments or managed services.
    • Prior experience with Azure platform services: Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus.
    • Prior experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
    • Understanding of ITIL and service management frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


    Preferred qualifications

    Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience or a preferred working background as a Senior Developer or Solution Architect.

    Microsoft Certifications preferred.
