Role – Training Specialist
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-user training for a large-scale digital transformation project. You will work closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams to ensure successful adoption of a new field service solution, supporting both office-based and field staff through structured training programs.
Employment Type and Duration: Contract – 4 months + extensions
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams to identify training needs and define training strategies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training plans aligned with project outcomes
- Conduct training needs analysis and design role-based learning pathways
- Create high-quality training materials (user guides, videos, FAQs, e-learning content)
- Deliver training via multiple channels (classroom, virtual, workshops, train-the-trainer)
- Design and manage flexible training schedules to support shift-based and field staff
- Provide post-training support and assist with system adoption challenges
- Ensure training aligns with change management strategies and project communications
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in training development and delivery, ideally within software or digital transformation projects
- Strong experience designing and delivering training for both office and field-based users
- Experience creating engaging training materials and structured learning pathways
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms (e.g., MS Teams)
- Understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, CMBoK)
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
- Experience supporting digital change initiatives and system implementations
Qualifications & Clearance
- Qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
- Experience working in complex or enterprise environments preferred
