The Ontario Government Client seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and experience in large-scale IT/telecommunications projects.
Must Haves:
5+ years in ITSM and as a Business Analyst
ITIL v3 or higher Certification
Proven communication and documentation skills
Experience with ITSM tools (Remedy, Visio, SharePoint)
Skilled in stakeholder collaboration, including client and vendor interaction
Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis to identify solutions for client challenges and support I&IT initiatives
Develop strategies, business cases, and performance measures for project success
Conduct requirements gathering, business modeling, and documentation
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and regularly update stakeholders
Skills:
Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) and KPI reporting
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience:
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder public sector projects
Background in telecommunications, public safety radio projects, and network operations
Communication:
Proven experience in client/vendor relations, conflict resolution, and clear documentation
