Intermediate Solutions Designer

The Client is seeking an Intermediate Solutions Designer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms. This role focuses on healthcare interoperability and modern cloud practices, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         10 years of experience creating technical and user documentation for electronic health-related projects, with clinical software deployment

·         5+ years of expertise in HL7 V2, FHIR, and XML messaging

·         2+ years of hands-on experience with Smile CDR/Smile Digital Health products

·         Recent advanced certification in Azure or AWS

·         3+ years of experience designing and supporting solutions in multi-cloud environments

Key Responsibilities:

·         Validate EHR platform architecture for scalability, security, and reliability

·         Implement best practices for cloud-native development and interoperability (FHIR)

·         Review and optimize code for performance and maintainability

·         Guide adoption of modern technologies such as containers, orchestration, and server less computing

·         Ensure compliance with healthcare standards like PHIPA

·         Drive platform enhancements and ensure data integrity during migrations

·         Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to align with business goals
