Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Our Client is looking for an Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist to support major initiatives and ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Job Title: Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         Strong experience triaging defects, leading triage meetings, and producing defect summary reports

·         Extensive manual and automated regression testing experience

·         5–10 years of experience with testing types: black box, penetration, security, system, unit, AODA, and UAT testing

·         Skilled in preparing detailed test cases to validate system functionality

·         Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps

Key Responsibilities: You will advise on testing strategies, develop test plans, and select appropriate testing tools and resources. You'll organize and execute testing efforts across large systems, both GUI and non-GUI, including systems integration, stress testing, and user acceptance testing. This role involves preparing detailed test scripts and cases, executing them, and collaborating closely with IT leads, testing leads, and project teams through all phases — from analysis and design to implementation and ongoing support.
