Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist

The Client is seeking an Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist to support testing efforts for complex, business-critical systems. This role involves executing test strategies and collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure quality and compliance across projects.

Job Title: Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         5–7 years of experience in executing testing activities and data reconciliation for complex systems

·         Proficient in tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Microfocus Product Suite

·         Strong knowledge of workflow, portfolio management, and rule-driven business applications

·         Experience coordinating across diverse technical and business teams

·         Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and data for GUI and non-GUI environments

·         Support integration, system, UAT, stress, and performance testing

·         Participate in test strategy planning, tool selection, and resource coordination

·         Track and document defects, contribute to resolution, and ensure requirement traceability

·         Work closely with QA leads, IT leads, and project teams throughout the SDLC

Ensure adherence to quality assurance methodologies and OPS standards
