About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise‑level system testing initiatives within a complex public‑sector environment. The successful consultant will provide both manual and automated testing expertise, working closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment, while aligning with Public Service quality assurance processes and standards.

Scope

• Provide end‑to‑end quality assurance support across enterprise applications

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases

• Perform both manual and automated testing across front‑end and back‑end systems

• Ensure testing outcomes align with business requirements through traceability.

Assignment Deliverables

• Comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements

• Manual and automated test scripts supporting functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing

• Test execution reports summarizing progress, coverage, defects, and risks

• Maintained traceability matrix ensuring full alignment between requirements and test outcomes.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience developing manual test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test data

• 5+ years of experience ensuring business requirements are met through traceability matrices

• 2+ years of experience in automated testing of software applications

• Hands‑on experience with test automation tools (Katalon, Selenium, Appium, or similar)

• Experience working in Agile / iterative delivery environments

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

• Experience testing enterprise‑level systems

• Previous experience working within Public Sector organizations.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services

• Experience with accessibility testing and compliance with AODA standards.
