About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Control Officer (PCO) to support Emergency Services implementation initiatives by providing project coordination, scheduling, documentation, reporting, and administrative support across multiple concurrent workstreams.
The successful consultant will serve as a central coordination resource, helping project managers, implementation leads, internal teams, and stakeholders maintain organized, accurate, and actionable project information. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, critical thinking, and experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Scope
Coordinate meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder engagements across multiple Emergency Services workstreams.
Organize calendars, meeting schedules, agendas, materials, and participant communications.
Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, action logs, decision records, and follow-up documentation.
Support project managers and implementation lead with project coordination and reporting activities.
Assignment Deliverables
Coordinated meeting schedules, agendas, presentation materials, minutes, and action item logs.
Decision registers, project trackers, repositories, templates, and documentation records.
Status reports and workstream updates outlining progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and next steps.
Briefing notes, presentations, correspondence, summaries, and stakeholder communication materials.
Risk register updates and reporting inputs.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Experience providing executive, administrative, or project coordination support in a professional environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Strong scheduling, coordination, organization, prioritization, time management, communication, critical thinking and follow-through skills, including the ability to identify gaps, clarify next steps, and manage competing requests.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and related collaboration platforms; experience with MS Project, MS Planner, or similar tools is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear notes, summaries, briefing materials, presentations, correspondence, and documentation.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting healthcare, emergency services, or public-sector initiatives.
Experience supporting multi-workstream implementation projects.
