    Banking Client is seeking a Network Engineer - 5 to support a large-scale migration from an on-prem Avaya PBX system to a Cisco Webex Cloud UCaaS platform. The ideal candidate must have experience in Avaya PBX, Cisco Webex Cloud, and enterprise telephony systems. This role will work within the Global Network Engineering group, focusing on Unified Communications and third-level telephony support. The successful candidate will contribute to discovery, design, integration, and implementation efforts—ensuring a seamless transition of users and services while maintaining system integrity and security.

    Job Description:

    Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
    1) 10+ years of telecoms / telephony experience
    2) 3+ years’ experience with Cisco Webex Cloud, Cisco Webex Control Hub and user migration projects
    3) 5+ years’ experience with enterprise-scale Avaya CM PBX deployments
    4) 3+ years’ experience SIP trunking and call routing
    5) 5+ years’ experience integrating UC platforms with systems like Verint, Custodia, WFM, E911, and SSO

    Nice-To-Have Skills:
    1) Proficiency with Oracle SBC and troubleshooting tools such as Oracle EOM.
    2) Work experience with IP Network systems and technologies, including, but not limited to Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IP subnetting.
    3) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification

    Soft Skills Required:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks under a tight timeline.
    • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve work issues with the ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong communication (verbal/written) and great interpersonal skills to interact with relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors. Able to present to executive level.

    Best VS. Average Candidate:
    The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco Webex Cloud, working experience on Avaya CM PBX, and hands-on expertise with Oracle SBC and related troubleshooting tools.
    They need to be a concise verbal communicator.
