Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our leading Banking/Financial client in Toronto. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in quality engineering, test automation, and end-to-end software testing processes to ensure the delivery of robust financial applications. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with proven experience in agile and DevOps environments, capable of driving testing strategies and ensuring seamless system integration.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of QE-related experience with strong knowledge of SDLC, Testing Life Cycle, and Defect Management.

• Expertise in QE processes, methodologies, and test design techniques.

• Hands-on experience with ALM, JIRA, Jenkins, and Confluence.

• Strong background in web automation testing and SQL, Python, Big Data.

• Proficiency with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, and SoapUI.

• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and Iterative Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design creative testing solutions under tight timelines.

• Excellent communication skills with experience reporting results to senior management.
