Senior Business Analyst

The Ontario Government Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide I&IT business analysis services. The role involves working with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical solutions.

Duration: 6+ Months

Must Haves:

• Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements, facilitating workshops, and documenting business processes, rules, and user interface designs.

• Expertise in conducting business analysis to assess opportunities, define technical requirements, and create use cases and context diagrams.

• Strong understanding of business process reengineering and performance measurement development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to define and document business and technical requirements.

• Create business models, process maps, use cases, and context diagrams.

• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess challenges and opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with standards, including AODA and OPS frameworks.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to lead business analysis for medium-sized projects.

• Expertise in reengineering business processes and developing I&IT solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and OPS methodologies.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience with performance measurement and system design documentation.
