Senior Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of transformative digital services in a complex public sector environment. This role is ideal for a collaborative, analytical thinker with deep experience in legacy modernization, agile delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         Proven experience with SDLC and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall, with expertise in iterative development and sprint leadership.

·         Strong background in business object-oriented modeling, UML, and system analysis in mainframe and mid-tier environments.

·         Demonstrated experience supporting complex public sector legacy applications and transformations using COTS products like Oracle Siebel.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead agile sprints, manage product backlogs, and facilitate requirements gathering.

·         Document user stories, system specifications, and project deliverables.

·         Conduct feasibility analysis, support project scoping, and estimate workloads.

·         Translate business needs into technical requirements and support implementation.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

·         Ensure accessibility compliance (AODA) and alignment with Public Sector Digital First strategies.
