Senior Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Project Management & Program Delivery team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in business analysis within both Agile and Waterfall environments, especially in leading iterative solution delivery.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         Proven experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to lead sprints.

·         Strong background in engaging both business and IT stakeholders to gather, assess, and estimate requirements for new or modified functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors during design, implementation, and testing phases.

·         Facilitate Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.

·         Lead feasibility analyses, project scoping, and estimation activities.

·         Analyze and document current and future state processes and data models.

·         Develop, validate, and manage business requirements using government-mandated tools and templates.

·         Review technical designs and participate in milestone walkthroughs.

·         Provide ongoing status reports and risk mitigation strategies.

Support knowledge transfer across stakeholders including the Transportation Safety Division and I&IT Cluster
